In 2022, after a specialist examination, a change was observed in the sheath of the sciatic nerve, which was considered to be benign. After the biopsy, it was confirmed the presence of malignant soft tissue sarcoma (C49.2 Neoplasma malignum textus connexivi et mollis extremitatis inferiors, regionem coxae includens).

In the same year, operative treatment was performed, but the tumor could not be completely removed, so treatment  started with chemotherapy and X-knife radiation.

In 2023, the disease relapsed, after which another operation was performed, during which it was not possible to remove the entire tumor.

In December of the same year, metastatic changes were observed in the lungs, which were irradiated with an x-knife, and changes were also observed in the pelvis. Biopsy analyzes were sent to a clinic abroad, where it was planned to continue treatment with immunotherapy with a peptide vaccine.

Given that the costs of treatment are very high, Branka needs the help of all humane people’s donations in order to provide funds for the continuation of the treatment as soon as possible.

She needs funds for immunotherapy and the creation of personalized vaccines, specialist examinations, as well as for travelling expenses during the treatment.
