At the end of August 2023, the disease appeared suddenly, Mia felt weak and fainted while she was walking.  She was referred to the University Hospital Nis, where she was hospitalized in the department of pediatric neurology and neuro orthopedics, where it was detected the loss of the left limbs and dysarthric speech.

She was diagnosed with spastic (convulsive) unilateral paralysis (G81.1 Hemiplegia spastica).

During hospitalization, treatment was carried out through physical and occupational therapy, as well as speech therapy and psychological monitoring.

Mia understands and follows commands, there is minimal mobility in the left shoulder and elbow as well as primary thrombophilia.

With physical treatments, there is a partial recovery of motor functions.

In order to be able to fully recover the left side of her body, Mia needs intensive treatments, which require significant funds, so all generous people are asked to help Mia with their donations so that she can continue her treatment as soon as possible.

Funds are needed for robotic neurorehabilitation, physical therapy, specialist and control examinations, travelling and accommodation expenses during the treatment.
