In 2020, Danijela was diagnosed with malignant melanoma (C43.5 Melanoma malignum trunci).

After the confirmation of the diagnosis, operative treatment followed at the Institute of Oncology of Serbia.

Unfortunately, after a few months, the disease progressed. Treatment was continued with targeted therapy, which was initially effective, but after 15 months, metastatic changes appeared.

Various therapies did not lead to any improvement, and the disease spread progressively.

Danijela found hope for a cure at a clinic abroad, where the treatment will continue with TIL therapy (therapy with tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes).

Given that the treatment costs are very high, Danijela needs the help of all humane people's donations in order to raise  necessary funds as soon as possible.

She needs funds for therapies, specialist examinations, operative treatment, laboratory analyses, hospital treatment, travel and accommodation costs during the treatment.
