In January 2024, Obrad lost control of his legs and suddenly fell. The control examination indicated a malignant tumor of the spinal column (C41.2 Neoplasma malignum columnae vertebralis).

Obrad underwent operative treatment at a private clinic during which the tumor was removed from the spinal canal, but the control examination showed that there was a residual tumor.

Pathohistological analysis confirmed that it is a very rare type of cancer - Chordoma.

In order to ensure the complete removal of the tumor and reduce the risk of recurrence of the disease, the treatment is directed to proton and carbon-ion radiation, which is not available in our country.

Given that the cost of this type of treatment is very high, he needs help from generous people’s donations.

Funds are needed for therapies, medicines, travel and accommodation expenses during the treatment.
