In 2014, Dimitrije was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis (G35 Sclerosis multiplex) after hospitalization at the Neurology Clinic of CC Kragujevac, which was preceded by problems such as weakness in the legs, tingling in the left foot and lower leg, mild speech impediments, problems with urination and back pain.

The treatment started immediately after the diagnosis, and during the treatment, dosed combined physical therapy procedures were applied, but the disease was in progression.

In November 2023, during a specialist examination, it was determined paraparesis of a more severe degree, MR increased on both sides, so walking is possible only with the help of a cane. MR examination of the endocranium in April 2024 revealed multiple chronic demyelination lesions in the cerebrum bilaterally and several infratentorial, in the brainstem.

Dimitrije decided to seek help in further treatment and stopping the progression of the disease in a clinic abroad, for which he needs significant financial resources, which he is unable to provide, so he is appealing to everyone who can help with donations to raise the necessary funds as soon as possible for a therapy that is applied in a clinic in Russia and which gives him hope to stop the further progression of the disease.

Funds are needed for continued treatment abroad, specialist examinations, laboratory analyzes and travel expenses.
