Gavrilo was born in the 29th gestational week. Due to the development of respiratory distress, he was treated in the intensive care unit. On the fifth day after birth, it was detected a third-degree intracranial hemorrhage with an intracerebral hematoma on the left frontoparietal side with consequent stationary ventriculomegaly, and for that reason Gavrilo was on mechanical ventilation for 25 days with other supportive therapy.

After the discontinuation of mechanical ventilation, he was dependent on the administration of oxygen.

He was diagnosed with epilepsy (G40 Epilepsia), cerebral palsy (G80 Paralysis cerebralis), expressive speech disorder (F80.1 Disordo orationis expressiva) and strabismus (H50.0 Strabismus concomitans convergens).

Gavrilo needs constant physical rehabilitation using the BDA therapy method, specialist examinations, as well as robotic neurorehabilitation.

Until now, his family has financed all the additional treatment costs, but as the costs of Gavrilo's treatment increase over time, they need the help of humane people’s donations.

Funds are needed for BDA treatments, rehabilitation, physical treatments, specialist examinations, robotics rehabilitation as well as for accommodation costs.
