raises funds for Saša Markov (1980)

Saša suffers from chronic kidney disease of the fifth degree (N18.5 Morbus renalis chronicus, grade 5).

Since October 2014, he has been on a chronic hemodialysis treatment program 3 times a week. The underlying disease that led to end-stage renal failure is IgA vasculitis with a rapid progressive course. The disease manifested in August 2013 with frequent stools with fresh blood and mucus, occasional swelling of the legs, hypertension, proteinuria 1+, pale and fresh erythrocyturia and increased creatinine. Treatment was started with medicines but without a satisfactory effect, so in October 2014 it was decided to start hemodialysis treatment.

Saša has no time to wait and for that reason  he plans to apply for a kidney transplant in Belarus to get a chance to live without dialysis.

Funds are needed for kidney transplantation, specialist preparatory examinations, translation of medical documents, as well as for travel and accommodation costs during the treatment.
