In September 2024, Ljiljana was diagnosed with a malignant tumor of the cervix (C53.- Neoplasma malignum cervicis uteri) with urinary retention in the kidney with obstruction of the uretero-pelvic junction (N13.0 Hydronephrosis obstructive ureteropelvica) and another unspecified urinary retention in the kidney (N13. 3 Hydronephrosis alia et non specificata).

After starting treatment at the Prijepolje General Hospital, she continued treatment at  the Urology Clinic at Military Medical  Academy and private health institutions, where nephrostomies were placed on both sides and it was determined that it was locally advanced cervical cancer, Ljiljana continued her oncology treatment at a clinic abroad.

Given that significant financial resources are necessary for the continuation of treatment abroad, Ljiljana's family is appealing to everyone who can help with donations.

Funds are needed for chemotherapy, surgery, specialist examinations, laboratory analyses, as well as for  travel and accommodation expenses during the treatment.
