In 2006, the first symptoms of the disease appeared, and in 2007 he  was diagnosed with nephropathy (Syndrome nephroticum glomerulonephritis mesangioliferativa diffusa) and chronic renal insufficiency (Dg. N18.5 Morbus renalis chronicus gradus V) .

In January 2023, the hemodialysis program and preparations for kidney transplantation were started.

Ivan's only hope for recovery is a kidney transplant at a clinic in Belarus, but this type of treatment requires significant financial resources that his family is unable to provide, so all generous people are asked to help with their donations so that the transplant can be performed as soon as possible.

Funds are needed for kidney transplantation, translation costs of medical documents, specialist examinations, medicines, preoperative preparation, travel and accommodation costs during the treatment.
