On June 12, 2023 Jugoslav suffered an open fracture and concussive injuries to his left upper leg when a heavy machine fell on his leg at his workplace. From the Negotin health center, he was referred to the University Medical Center Nis, where an above-the-knee amputation of the left leg was performed on the same day.

From July 18, 2023 until August 11, 2023  he was treated in the General hospital in Pančevo, where the skin defect on the upper leg was repaired, and Jugoslav was regularly bandaged and monitored until the wound completely healed.

After 4 months, he was sent to the Special Hospital for Rehabilitation and Orthopedic Prosthetics in Belgrade to receive orthopedic aid. He passed the walking school and was trained to walk with the help of forearm crutches for short and medium distances, while a wheelchair is needed for longer distances.

It is necessary for Jugoslav to receive a functional prosthesis in order to facilitate independent functioning.

Considering the high costs of prosthesis, he needs help from all humane people’s  donations.

Funds are needed for orthopedic aids and the creation of personalized prostheses.
