Since early childhood, Nikola has been monitored by a child psychiatrist and neurologist due to disharmonious development and attention disorders (F83 Disordines evolutionis specifici mixti) as well as epilepsy (G403 Epilepsia idiopathica generalisata et syndromata epileptica).

He is also being monitored by an orthopedist due to the observed foot deformity, which was surgically treated in October 2024. A left-sided arthroereisis was performed, after which intensive physical treatments and rehabilitation were carried out.

Verbal contact is achieved, socio-emotional reciprocity is preserved. There is an increased level of motor activity for the age.

In order to recover and walk without pain, Nikola needs to continue his treatment as well as to undergo a genetic test that will help in finding an adequate therapy for his health problems.

Considering the high costs of treatment, the help of all humane people’s donations is needed.

Funds are needed for defectological treatments, laboratory analyses, therapeutic riding, bda treatments, genetic tests, spa treatment and rehabilitation, specialist examinations, medicines and supplements, as well as for travel and accommodation costs during the treatment.
