Danilo was born as the second child after a healthy pregnancy that ended in term by caesarean section. Postnatal adaptation was slower, he was on phototherapy due to hyperbilirubinemia. He was diagnosed with Down syndrome (Q90 Down syndrome) when he was two months old.

Danilo has simple trisomy 21. He is followed by an ENT specialist due to chronic otitis with the installation of aeration arrows on both sides. There is adenoid vegetation. Sphincter control is not established. Psychologically assessed with observed delay in psychomotor functioning. He is involved in physical and defectological treatments. He is under the supervision of an endocrinologist, a cardiologist and a child psychiatrist due to neurodevelopmental delay.

In order to progress, it is necessary to continue speech therapy and defectology treatments as well as physical therapy in the country and abroad.

Considering the high costs of treatment, the help of all humane people’s donations is needed.

Funds are needed for physical therapy, defectology and speech therapy treatments, laboratory analyses, genetic testing, specialist examinations and electrostimulation.
