Mateja was born after a properly controlled pregnancy. Term delivery completed at 37th week by emergency caesarean section due to placental abruption. At birth, he was without spontaneous reactions, hypotonic and bradycardic.

During the examination in General Hospital Valjevo, bilateral ventriculomegaly and cystic-malatic brain damage were observed on both sides.

He was diagnosed with muscle hypertonia (P94.1 Hypertonia musculorum neonati congenita), mixed specific developmental disorders (F83 Disordines evolutionis specifici mixti) and cerebral palsy- quadriparesis (G 80.0 Paralysis cerebralis spastica quadriplegica).

In order to improve Mateja's health, it is necessary to carry out continuous physical therapy. Considering the high costs of treatment, the help of all humane people’s donations is needed.

Funds are needed for physical therapy, orthopedic aids, exercises at home, specialist examinations, laboratory analyses and BDA training.
