The first symptoms of the disease appeared in 2023 in the form of swelling of the lower extremities, lower abdomen, swelling of the face and eyelids. In March 2025, after specialist examinations that were carried out in the Clinical Center of Serbia, she was diagnosed with  cirrhosis of the liver (K74.6 Cirrhosis hepatis alia et non specificata).

Kristina was found to be suffering from an autoimmune disease that led to extensive liver damage, necessitating a transplant.

In order to improve Kristina's health, it is necessary to provide funds for the transplant with the help of donations from humane people.

Funds are needed for liver transplantation, medicines, medical consumables, specialist and control examinations, rehabilitation, translation of medical documents, laboratory analyses, as well as for travel and accommodation costs during the treatment.
