The first symptoms of the disease appeared suddenly at an already advanced stage during a business trip abroad in July 2023, when Bora was urgently hospitalized and put on a hemodialysis program through a Hickman catheter placed through which he still dialyzes today.

He was diagnosed with chronic renal insufficiency (Dg. N18.5 Morbus renalis chronicus gradus 5) caused by Alport's syndrome, a very rare genetic disorder.

A hemodialysis program has been carried out three times a week for four hours.

Bora's only hope for recovery is a kidney transplant at a clinic in Belarus, but this type of treatment requires significant financial resources that the family is unable to provide, so all generous people are asked to help with their donations so that the transplant can be performed as soon as possible.

Funds are needed for kidney transplants, specialist examinations, translation of medical documents, laboratory analyses, travel and accommodation costs during the treatment.
