In July 2022, adrenocortical carcinoma was surgically treated and removed completely, after which Jana’s health was regularly monitored.

Due to the early manifestation of adrenocortical carcinoma, an examination by a geneticist was performed and in July 2024, Li Fraumeni syndrome was proven - a rare genetic disorder that increases the risk that a person or his family members will suffer from a malignant disease.

In May 2025, Jana became drowsy, and her parents noticed that the right corner of her mouth was lagging behind, as well as paralysis of the right side of her face, arm and leg. Soon after that she was diagnosed with a brain tumor, placed above the tentacles of the brain (D43.0 Neoplasma cerebri supratentoriale).

The neuroradiological verified, expansive change in the projection of the left thalamus and surrounding structures were surgically treated at the University Clinical Center of Serbia, neurosurgery department.

Given that it is a rare cancer caused by a TP-53 gene mutation, Jana has to continue treatment at a clinic abroad as soon as possible.

Given that costs of this type of treatment are high and  that her family is unable to provide, all generous people are asked to help with their donations.

Funds are needed for treatment abroad, travel expenses and accommodation costs during the treatment.
