Abdominal pains first appeared in 2024 when the appendix was surgically removed, after which there was no improvement in her health.

In December 2024, a CT scan revealed that Kristina had Nutcracker syndrome - entrapment of the left renal vein between the abdominal aorta and the superior mesenteric artery.

Operative treatment abroad is planned, where a stent will be placed.
