In May 2022, Dimitrije suffered multiple injuries in a traffic accident. He spent three days unconscious, was admitted to the hospital where he was found to have compression fracture of TH 8, 11, 12, a subtrochanteric fracture of the right femur and multiple rib fractures.

He was diagnosed with paraplegia (G820 paraplegia flaccida posttraumatica).

He was treated operatively when decompression of the spinal canal, inter laminectomy vert Th 12 and laminectomy of L1 and L2 were performed, after which rehabilitation treatment was carried out, which was interrupted due to a urinary infection.

In order to improve his health, continuous physical therapy is needed, as well as the purchase of a new wheelchair.

Since the continuation of the treatment involves significant financial resources, the help of all generous people’s donations is needed.

Funds are needed for rehabilitation, orthopedic aids and consumable medical supplies.
