In October 2019, Marina was admitted to the HNC for injuries sustained when a tree fell on her back in the forest. She felt severe pain after which she could not move her legs. A MSCT of the thoracolumbar spine was performed showing a fracture of the L1 body with retrolisthesis and absolute stenosis of the spinal canal.

She was diagnosed with spastic (convulsive) paralysis of two symmetrical limbs (G821 paraplegia spastica).

In order to improve Marina's health, continuous physical therapy is needed.

Since the continuation of the treatment involves significant financial resources, the help of all generous people’s donations is needed.

Funds are needed for specialist examinations, laboratory analyses, medicines, supplements, kinesis and physical therapy, therapeutic massages, diapers, consumable and medical supplies.
