Jovana felt the first symptoms in March 2023, when there was a deterioration in right eye sight with discomfort on eye movement, that was followed by tingling in the right extremities. On several occasions she had paroxysms of tingling in her fingertips that would last up to 2 weeks.

She was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis (Dg. G.35 Sclerosis multiplex), relapsing-resistant form.

She was treated with pulse and corticosteroid therapy, but during the follow-up, new lesions were observed on the cervical and thoracic part of the spinal cord with clinical deterioration and the appearance of systemic side effects.

After consultation with a clinic abroad, she was suggested with stem cell transplantation treatment (HSCT treatment).

Given that costs of this type of treatment are high, she needs the help of all humane people’s donations.

Funds are needed for HSCT treatment, specialist examinations, travel and accommodation costs during the treatment.
