Mateja was born prematurely at the28th week by emergency caesarean section.

Immediately after birth, he was sent to a children's hospital where he spent the next 4 months on breathing apparatus. Due to his immaturity and premature birth, Mateja suffered a IV degree cerebral hemorrhage, as a result of which hydrocephalus developed, and a VP shunt was implanted.

Mateja is still not crawling, sitting, walking or talking.

He is regularly monitored by a physiatrist, neurosurgeon, neurologist and psychologist.

In order to progress, continuous physical treatments and rehabilitation are needed.

Given that costs of this type of treatment are very high, the help of all humane people’s donations is needed.

Funds are needed for physical therapy, specialist examinations and laboratory analyses.
