In February 2024, Slobodan was diagnosed with kidney failure in the terminal stage with the diagnosis: chronic kidney disease of the 5th degree (N18.5 Morbus renalis chronicus, gradus 5).

The treatment started with hemodialysis, and during the hospitalization, pre-transplantation preparation for a cadaveric kidney transplant started, so since 31th May 2024, he has been on the waiting list by the decision of the Council for Kidney Transplantation.

Slobodan's only hope for recovery is a kidney transplant at a clinic in Belarus, but this type of treatment requires significant financial resources that his family is unable to provide. Slobodan needs the help of all generous people’s donations so that the transplant can be done as soon as possible.

Funds are needed for kidney transplantation, translation costs of medical documents, medicines, specialist examinations, laboratory analyses, travel  and accommodation costs during the treatment abroad.
