Petar was born prematurely in the 27th and a half week by caesarean section. He is the second born after the second twin pregnancy. At eight months, he was diagnosed with epilepsy (G402 Epilepsia symptomatica focallis et syndromae epilepticae cum impetu simplex parti).

Due to premature birth and perinatal asphyxia, he was hospitalized for 62 days, had RDS, was on MV for 14 days, and intraventricular hemorrhage was determined by diagnostics. He is regularly monitored clinically and neurologically. Since July 2023, he has been treated at the UCC Tiršov, where a VP shunt was installed. He is monitored by a physiatrist, a neurologist, an ophthalmologist due to ROP 3+, a speech therapist and a defectologist. Peter is still not able to sit, walk or talk. He is involved in continuous physical therapy.

Considering the high costs of treatment, the help of all humane people’s  donations is needed in order to improve his health.

Funds are needed for physical therapy, BDA treatments, diagnostics and treatment in the country and abroad, psychological treatments, speech therapy and defectology treatments, rehabilitation, travel and accommodation costs during the treatment.
