Lenka is the first child born after (IVF) in the 38th week and 6 days of pregnancy. After birth, she was examined for hypotonia and included in physical treatments. At the end of the third month, she was diagnosed with epilepsy (G40.4 Epilepsia generalisaata alia et sindromata epileptica).

She is followed by neurologists, neuropsychiatrists, ophthalmologists, geneticists and psychologists and they determined a delay in psychomotor development (F83 Disordines evolutions specifi mixti).

Lenka does not walk independently, does not speak or use demonstrative gestures, but intensive therapies are making progress. Further stimulation of psychomotor development is needed.

Considering the high costs of treatment, the help of all humane people’s donations is needed  in order to improve her health.

Funds are needed for BDA treatments, genetic tests, laboratory analyses, diapers, physical therapy, psychomotor re-education, speech therapy, defectology treatments and specialist examinations.
