Nikola was diagnosed with mixed specific developmental disorders (F83 Disordines evolutionis specifici mixti) and sensorineural, bilateral hearing loss,  (H90.3 Surditas sensorineuralis bilateralis).

Cochlear implantation was performed in 2021. Since the age of four, he has been involved in treatments by a hearing specialist and a speech therapist. Nikola goes to a special school for hearing-impaired children. Speech consists of single words, so far he has not uttered sentences.

In order to improve his health, it is necessary to undergo stem cell treatments at a clinic abroad. Considering the continuous therapies and treatments that his parents have financed so far, they need help from all generous people's donations.

Funds are needed for stem cell treatments, rehabilitation, speech therapy and defectology treatments, specialist examinations, travel and accommodation costs.
