Mateja is the second child born after a hormonally maintained pregnancy, he was born 20 days after the due date.

At the age of two, he was diagnosed with pervasive developmental disorder from the autism spectrum (F84 Disordines evolutionis pervasivi), severe mental retardation and epilepsy (G40.1 Epilepsia idiopathica et syndromata).

He is monitored by a child neurologist and a psychiatrist. He has had epileptic seizures since he was 4.5 years old in sleep and when he is awake, body spasms and a fixed gaze lasting up to 2 minutes. He could say 4 words, but he didn't connect sentences. He wears diapers. Walks with parental support. Does not understand simple commands. He is not independent in his daily activities of self-care and self-help.

In order to improve Mateja's health, it is necessary to undergo stem cell treatments at a clinic abroad.
