In October 2025, due to difficulty with walking, passivity, reduced communication and dizziness that appeared in the previous two months, Jelena was admitted to University’s Clinic Center of Serbia neurosurgery department, where she had biopsy after that she was a diagnosed with a malignant tumor that crossed the borders of the brain (C71.8 Neoplasma malignum cerebri, limited transients) .

The finding corresponds to a diffuse high-grade glioma of the pediatric type (Pediatric-type diffuse high-grade glioma, NOS).

In order to go abroad for treatment as soon as possible, she needs help from all generous people’s donations.
