Shortly after birth, she was diagnosed with tuberous sclerosis (Dg. Q85.1 Sclerosis tuberosa), a multisystem disease caused by a gene mutation. It belongs to rare diseases and it is extremely unpredictable because each sufferer is differently affected by the disease, from very mild symptoms to complete dysfunction and severe mental retardation.

Đurđina has had epileptic seizures since the third month after her birth, which are a little milder than they used to be. There are seizures several times a week. She has tremors in her hands.

For further treatment, it is necessary for Đurđina to go for operative treatment abroad as soon as possible, which is why the help of all humane people’s  donations is needed.
