She was diagnosed with chronic kidney disease of the 5th degree (N18.5 Morbus renalis chronicus, gradus 5) in 2002.

In the period from April to November 2003, she was on a treatment program with peritoneal dialysis - the CAPD method.

On 18th November 2003, Ivana underwent a living related kidney transplant, her father was the donor.

From 19th February 2020 due to rejection of the graft, she began treatment with a chronic program of hemodialysis performed 3 times a week for 4.5 hours.

It is necessary for Ivana to have a cadaveric kidney transplant as soon as possible at a clinic abroad that has a high success rate in this area of ​​treatment. Given that costs for this type of treatment are high, the help of all humane people’s donations is needed.

Funds are needed for kidney transplants, specialist examinations, laboratory analyses, hemodialysis, as well as for travel and accommodation costs during the treatment.
