The first symptoms of the disease appeared in September 2023, when during the surgical treatment of uterine fibroids, it was discovered that Ana had a tumor in the retroperitoneum, which was removed on that occasion.

She was diagnosed with malignant tumor of connective and soft tissue of the chest (C49.3 Neoplasma malignum textus connexivi et mollis thoracis). A year later, metastatic changes were observed, for which the liver was surgically treated in October 2024.

After she was diagnosed with a rare type of malignant tumor classified as "high grade" sarcoma, Ana underwent X-ray radiation therapy, chemotherapy, the TACE procedure as well as another cycle of chemotherapy, after which the possibilities of treatment in Serbia were exhausted.

Ana found her hope in healing at a clinic abroad specialized in the treatment of oncological diseases with innovative therapies. Since the costs for this type of treatment are high, the help of all humane people’s donations is needed

Funds are needed for diagnostic and specialist examinations, sonophotodynamic therapy, biological and immunotherapy, travel and accommodation expenses during the treatment.
