Dragan was initially hospitalized on October 29, 2025. at the Institute for the Protection of Children and Youth of Vojvodina due to a compression fracture of the body of the C4 and C5 vertebrae as well as dissection of both VA up to the C3/4 level, caused as a result of traffic trauma when he was a passenger in a vehicle that went off the highway and in which there were Partizan judokas.

He was diagnosed with paralysis of all limbs, unspecified (G82.5 Tetraplegia, non specificata).

Dragan was urgently operated on the same day when decompression of the spinal canal and stabilization of the mentioned level was performed.

After Dragan's health stabilized, the implementation of physical therapy began. Intensive rehabilitation programs are planned to improve muscle strength and potentially return to walking.

Given that costs of this type of treatment are high, the help of all generous people’s donations is needed.
