Since the third month, Željko has had changes on his hands and feet where blisters appeared, the changes disappeared but new ones appeared. He was diagnosed with epidermolysis bullosa (L 12.3 Epidermolysis bullosa acquisita). The appearance of changes on the skin hinders him from performing physical work because after cracking, the skin has erosions and scabs that are difficult to heal.

In December 2025, Željko felt chest pain and shortness of breath, when it was determined that he had an acute subendocardial myocardial infarction (I21.4 Infarctus myocardii subendocardialis acutus).

The continuation of treatment in the country and abroad requires significant financial resources that Željko is unable to provide, so all generous people are asked to help with their donations in order to raise the necessary amount as soon as possible.

Funds are needed for stem cell transplantation, specialist examinations, spa rehabilitation, cardiac therapy, medications for the treatment of epidermolysis bullosa, supplements, medical cosmetics, medical consumables, as well as travel and accommodation costs during the treatment.
