The disease manifested in 2008 in the form of tingling hands. In 2009, she was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis (Dg. G.35 Sclerosis multiplex). In the same year, instability occurred when walking, for which Irena was treated with corticosteroid therapy.

In 2023, Corpos therapy was introduced. Unfortunately, the disease developed from a relapse to a secondary progressive phase and Irene's walking became very difficult and she needed support.

After consultation with a clinic abroad, further treatment with stem cell transplantation (HSCT treatment) was suggested, which would stop the progression of the disease. Given that the costs of this type of treatment are high, the help of all humane people’s donations is needed.

Funds are needed for HSCT treatment, specialist examinations, physical therapy, spa rehabilitation, travel and accommodation expenses during the treatment.
