At a regular specialist examination at the beginning of 2025, it was determined that Maja was suffering from a malignant tumor of the outer part of the cervix (C53.1 Neoplasma malignum exacervicis uteri).

Treatment started with a Wertheim-Meigs hysterectomy and after PH verification the disease was staged as FIGO IIIC1. Postoperative radiation therapy continued and then 4 cycles of HT potentiation with CDDP were also prescribed.

Unfortunately, at the follow-up examination in December 2025, a relapse was detected, and all treatment options in the country had been exhausted.

It is necessary for Maja to continue treatment abroad with innovative methods and Tomo therapies as soon as possible.

Given that costs for this type of treatment are high,  her family is unable to provide, Maya needs help from all generous people’s donations.

Funds are needed for specialist examinations, laboratory analyses, Tomo therapy, radiation with a cyber knife, travel and accommodation expenses during the treatment.
