is raising funds for Nikola Glumičić (2021)

Nikola has been diagnosed with spastic diplegic cerebral palsy (G80.1 Paralysis Cerebralis spastica diaplegica), as well as mixed specific developmental disorders (F83 Disordines evolutionis specifici mixti).

He was born prematurely at 35 weeks of gestation, and mechanical ventilation and phototherapy were applied. Since the age of six months, he has been monitored by a physiatrist due to macrocrania and delayed psychomotor development. At the age of one, he was included in speech therapy, special education therapy, physical therapy, and rehabilitation.

Due to intensive therapies and treatments, there has been progress in Nikola’s functioning. He has begun walking independently but is unsteady and often falls. He speaks and responds to questions but does not engage in more advanced verbal communication.

Given the extremely high costs of continued treatment, the family is appealing to all compassionate people for donations to help Nikola continue to make progress.

Funds are needed for speech therapy, special education therapy, and physical therapy.
