In 2009, Marko was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis (Dg. G.35 Sclerosis multiplex).

He had relapses of the disease on several occasions and for that reason he was treated with pulse corticosteroid therapy. Due to the progression of the symptoms, a decision was made to replace the therapy that modifies the course of the disease in MS. Immunomodulatory therapy started in October 2024 with the medicine Kesimpta, which was replaced by the medicine Corpos in December 2025 due to ineffectiveness. From March 2025, Marko can only walk 50 meters without rest. The applied therapies did not lead to the desired results, and the performance of all life activities is difficult.

After consultation with a clinic abroad, further treatment with stem cell transplantation (HSCT treatment) was proposed, which would stop the progression of the disease. Given that costs of this type of treatment are high, the help of all humane people’s donations is needed.

Funds are needed for HSCT treatment, specialist examinations, travel and accommodation costs during the treatment.
