is raising funds for Vjekoslav Ivanović (2020)

Vjekoslav has been diagnosed with pneumococcal meningitis (G00.1 Meningitis pneumococcica) with severe neurological consequences, including cerebral palsy (G80.0 Paralysis cerebralis spastica), optic nerve atrophy (H47.2 Atrophia nervi optici), as well as moderate malnutrition (E44.0 Malnutritio moderata).

He has been treated for convulsions, and his condition required surgical interventions – a tracheostomy and surgery for a subdural hematoma.

Vjekoslav is currently breathing spontaneously through a tracheostomy and is fed via a PEG tube. Increased muscle tone and limited mobility are present, which is why continuous physical therapy and medical care are necessary.

Given the severity of his medical condition and the high cost of treatment, the family needs the support of all compassionate people so that Vjekoslav can receive adequate care, therapies, and a chance for improvement.

Funds are needed for rehabilitation, physical therapies and stimulation, travel expenses, and accommodation costs during treatment.
