is raising funds for Suzana Žižić Aničić (1985)

Suzana has been diagnosed with uveal melanoma of the right eye (C69.3 Neoplasma malignum chorioideae), an aggressive malignant disease which, despite initiated treatment, has progressed and spread. Following brachytherapy and anti-VEGF therapy, metastases have developed, primarily in the liver, as confirmed by radiological and histopathological findings.

Further diagnostics have revealed numerous metastatic changes in both lobes of the liver, as well as suspicion of additional changes in the bones and other organs. Due to disease progression, Suzana is facing a serious and complex medical condition that requires urgent and continuous oncological treatment.

A medical board has recommended the use of advanced treatment approaches, including combined immunotherapy, as well as additional genetic analysis (NGS) to determine the possibility of targeted therapy. The application of the TACE procedure is also being considered due to the presence of multiple liver metastases.

Given that the proposed therapies are not covered by the National Health Insurance Fund, significant financial resources are required to continue treatment and provide Suzana with timely and adequate care.

Funds are needed for immunotherapy, specialist examinations, as well as all additional diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
