is raising funds for Jana Tirkajlo (2022).

Jana has been diagnosed with a condition characterized by the absence of longitudinal bone growth (Q77.4 Achondroplasia). The diagnosis was confirmed through genetic testing (FGFR3 mutation c.1138G>A).

At birth, Jana experienced respiratory distress, neonatal seizures, and required mechanical ventilation. As she has grown, she has developed orthopedic issues for which she wore Pavlik harnesses. She has also had recurrent respiratory infections, breathing difficulties during sleep, as well as hearing and vision impairments. She began walking at 18 months with intensive physical therapy, and still requires continuous monitoring of her psychomotor development.

Jana needs treatment with vosoritide (Voxzogo) — the only medication that addresses the underlying cause of the condition and enables children with achondroplasia to grow and develop without severe complications.

Given the seriousness of her health condition and the need for ongoing treatment, therapies, diagnostics, and medical supervision, her family is unable to cover all the necessary expenses on their own. Therefore, they are reaching out to kind-hearted people for help through donations.
