Sloboda has been diagnosed with cerebral palsy – spastic quadriplegia (G80.0 Paralysis cerebralis spastica quadriplegica), hip dislocation (S73.0 Luxatio coxae), neuromuscular scoliosis (M41.4 Scoliosis neuromuscularis), epilepsy (G40.0 Epilepsia idiopathica), as well as urinary incontinence (R32 Incontinentia urinae, non specificata).

Throughout her treatment so far, Sloboda has undergone numerous surgical procedures and therapies. She is continuously included in physical treatments and rehabilitation. Various methods have been applied in her therapy, including ABR, kinesitherapy, Thera Suit, QRI laser, and the Masgutova method.

Surgical treatment of the spine abroad is planned — a total spinal fusion — followed by postoperative recovery and continued intensive physical therapy. Due to the complexity of her medical condition, Sloboda has significant limitations in mobility and daily functioning and requires constant assistance from another person.

Since the continuation of treatment abroad requires substantial financial resources that the family is unable to provide on their own, all people of good will are invited to help with their donations.

Funds are needed for surgical treatment and physical therapies, as well as for travel and accommodation expenses during the course of treatment.
