is raising funds for Vidak Milosavljević (2020)

Vidak suffers from severe epileptic encephalopathy with bilateral agyria-pachygyria, corpus callosum dysplasia, and drug-resistant epilepsy (G40.9 Epilepsia, non specificata), as well as congenital brain malformation (Q04.9 Malformatio cerebri congenita, non specificata). He also has a severe form of cerebral palsy with spastic quadriplegia (G80.0 Paralysis cerebralis spastica).

Due to chronic respiratory insufficiency (J96.1 Insufficientia respiratoria chronica) and recurrent pneumonia, Vidak underwent a tracheotomy. Because of severe malnutrition and swallowing difficulties, a PEG tube was also inserted so that he can safely receive food and therapy.

Vidak also has severe osteoporosis with pathological fractures (M80.9 Osteoporosis cum fractura pathologica), which requires continuous treatment.

Given the severity of his medical condition and the extremely high costs of treatment, Vidak’s family needs the support of all compassionate people through donations in order to secure the necessary funds for the continuation of treatment in Serbia and abroad.

Funds are needed for genetic testing, specialist examinations, physical and kinesitherapy treatments, medical aids, medications, supplements, disposable medical supplies, travel expenses, and accommodation costs during treatment.
