is raising funds for Nedeljko Babić (1973).

In 1999, Nedeljko was diagnosed with Crohn’s disease (K50 Morbus Crohn), a chronic inflammatory bowel disease that requires lifelong treatment and continuous medical supervision.

Over the years, he has undergone numerous therapeutic protocols — corticosteroid therapy, immunosuppressive therapy, and standard treatment — but without satisfactory improvement. Due to disease progression, the development of fistulas, and corticosteroid resistance, he was started on biological therapy (Humira) in 2013, which he received until 2018, when it had to be discontinued due to worsening of his condition.

Since 2020, Nedeljko has been participating in an international clinical study involving biological therapy, which has finally led to stabilization of the disease. Regular check-ups show that he feels better while on this therapy, but without it, there is a high risk of disease deterioration.

In addition to his primary illness, Nedeljko struggles with several associated conditions, as well as recurrent anemia, for which he has required multiple blood transfusions and intravenous iron therapy.

The family is appealing to all kind and compassionate people for help in the form of donations to raise funds for the continuation of his treatment.

Funds are needed for biological therapy, medications, supplements, diapers, medical consumables, spa rehabilitation, travel expenses, and accommodation costs.
