is raising funds for Mina Goman (1985)

Mina has been diagnosed with tetraplegia (G82.4 Tetraplegia spastica) and a disorder of the central canal of the spinal cord and medulla oblongata (G95.0 Syringomyelia et syringobulbia).

She has been struggling with progressive neurological problems for years. After suffering from meningitis in 2006, her condition gradually worsened, eventually leading to complete immobility. Today, Mina is wheelchair‑bound, has decubital ulcers, a urinary catheter, and suffers from severe neuropathic pain and muscle spasms that make breathing, movement, and sleep extremely difficult.

Despite undergoing spinal cord decompression surgery, long‑term therapy, stem‑cell treatment, and physical therapy, her condition has continued to deteriorate. All available treatment options in Serbia have been exhausted, and Mina still experiences intense pain, full‑body spasms, difficulty breathing, and a significantly reduced quality of life.

It is essential for Mina to continue treatment abroad, where advanced neurorehabilitation methods, innovative neuropathic pain therapies, and specialized programs for patients with severe forms of syringomyelia and tetraplegia are available.

Her family is unable to cover the costs of further treatment on their own, so help from kind‑hearted people is urgently needed.

Funds are required for surgical treatment abroad, physical therapy, neurorehabilitation and rehabilitation, as well as travel and accommodation expenses during treatment.
