Bogdan has been diagnosed with cerebral palsy (G80.9 Paralysis cerebralis, non specificata), specific developmental disorder of motor function (F82 Disordo evolutionis functionis motoricae specificus), mixed specific developmental disorder (F83 Disordines evolutionis specifici mixti), and optic pathway damage (H47.0 Morbi nervi optici, non alibi classificati).

Bogdan was born in September 2024 after a complicated delivery accompanied by hypoxia. In December, he was admitted to the Institute for Mother and Child Health due to tremors and neurological deviations. Brain MRI revealed the consequences of a previous grade‑I hemorrhage, cystic changes, and supratentorial white matter damage. Additional genetic testing is ongoing due to suspected Aicardi–Goutières syndrome type 1.

From the earliest age, Bogdan has been included in a continuous rehabilitation program. He regularly attends physical therapy, developmental exercises, occupational therapy, speech therapy, and special education treatments, with ongoing follow‑ups by a neurologist, physiatrist, orthopedist, ophthalmologist, and other specialists. Due to significant delays in psychomotor development, he requires daily therapeutic work and continuous monitoring by a multidisciplinary team.

In the upcoming period, the plan includes continued intensive rehabilitation, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech and special education treatments as recommended by specialists, as well as regular follow‑ups with neurology, physiatry, orthopedics, ophthalmology, and other experts. Additional diagnostic procedures, genetic analyses, and treatment and rehabilitation both in Serbia and abroad are also planned.

Funds are needed for specialist examinations, laboratory analyses, physical therapy, speech therapy, and BDA therapy.
