is raising funds for Ema Nahajovski (2019).

Ema was born from a twin pregnancy, at 33 weeks of gestation, weighing 1700 grams. After birth, due to complications and lack of oxygen, she was hospitalized for 39 days. At an early age, she was diagnosed with cerebral palsy – spastic quadriplegia (G80.0 Paralysis cerebralis spastica quadriplegica) and strabismus (H50.9 Strabismus).

Since the age of two months, Ema has been included in habilitation treatment and is under continuous supervision of a multidisciplinary team – a neurologist, physiatrist, ophthalmologist, psychologist, speech therapist, and special education therapist.

Ema cannot walk independently, stands only with assistance, and has pronounced difficulties with motor coordination. Due to shortened tendons, she has received Botulinum therapy in both groins, forearms, and thighs, and she regularly attends physical and rehabilitation treatments.

In the upcoming period, she is scheduled for fibrotomy surgery, as well as continued intensive rehabilitation to improve mobility and functional abilities.

Funds are needed for strabismus surgery, fibrotomy, physical and habilitation therapies, orthopedic and medical aids, and ophthalmologic examinations.
