is raising funds for Dragan Spaić (1959).

Dragan has been diagnosed with neuroendocrine carcinoma of the distal esophagus, cardia, and proximal stomach (C16.0 – Carcinoma neuroendocrinicum oesophagi distalis, cardiae et ventriculi proximalis), with a pathologically confirmed high‑grade invasive neuroendocrine carcinoma – NEC G3 (Carcinoma neuroendocrinicum invasivum, gradus III).

Dragan was hospitalized due to dysphagia, significant weight loss, and anemia. Endoscopy confirmed a massive vegetative tumor involving the distal esophagus, cardia, and proximal stomach. Due to the inability to maintain adequate oral intake, a percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy (PEG CH 20) was placed for nutritional support. Diagnostic procedures revealed infiltrative tumor growth with extramural extension, involvement of surrounding adipose tissue, diaphragmatic crura, and regional lymph nodes. Multiple endoscopic examinations, biopsies, MDCT scans of the thorax and abdomen, and endocrinological evaluations were performed.

According to endocrinologists and abdominal surgeons, additional MDCT imaging is required to assess disease spread. Dragan has been referred to the Neuroendocrine Tumor (NET) Council for a decision regarding initiation of neoadjuvant chemotherapy according to the EP protocol, alongside continued supportive therapy.

Funds are needed for oncology treatments at a private clinic and specialist medical examinations.
