is raising funds for Miroslav Kužet (1968).

Miroslav has been diagnosed with ALS – Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (G12.2 Morbus neuroni motorii), a progressive neurodegenerative disease that leads to gradual loss of muscle function, respiratory failure, and complete dependence on mechanical ventilation. Due to the illness, Miroslav has a tracheostomy and gastrostomy and requires mechanical ventilation 24 hours a day.

He has been hospitalized multiple times at the Institute for Pulmonary Diseases of Vojvodina due to worsening respiratory function and technical issues with ventilation. He also suffers from speech impairment (dysarthria and anarthria), hypersalivation, cardiomyopathy, and hypertension. Because of the nature of the disease, continuous medical care is essential.

The disease has progressed rapidly, and Miroslav has lost the ability to speak, swallow, and move independently. His treatment includes physical therapy, speech therapy, psychological and psychiatric support, as well as daily nursing care and aspiration.

Due to the bulbar and spinal form of ALS, Miroslav urgently needs a Tobii communication device, which enables easier communication and interaction with others.

The continuation of treatment requires significant financial resources, which is why help from kind-hearted people is needed in the form of donations.

Funds are needed for the purchase of a Tobii communication device.
