is raising funds for Leonardo Jovanović (2015).

Leonardo suffers from epilepsy (G40.9 Epilepsia, non specificata), spastic paraplegia of the lower extremities, mild intellectual disability with significant behavioral disorders (F70.1 Retardatio mentalis levis cum perturbatione morum), hyperkinetic disorder with attention deficit (F90.1 Disordo morum hyperkineticus in obs.), mixed specific developmental disorders (F83 Disordines evolutionis specifici mixti), strabismus (H50.0 Strabismus concomitans convergens), and non-organic enuresis (F98.0 Enuresis non organica).

Leonardo is the second child from a normally monitored pregnancy, born naturally with an Apgar score of 9. On the third day of life, he developed a high fever and was treated for sepsis. From early infancy, he has had hypotonia, tremor, high diopters, strabismus, and delays in psychomotor development. He sat independently at 10 months, walked at the age of two, and began forming simple sentences at around 18 months.

In recent years, Leonardo has been facing worsening neurological and motor symptoms — frequent hand tremors, dizziness, headaches, spasms, falls, and involuntary urination. Due to epilepsy and tremor, he uses complex therapy and is monitored by a multidisciplinary medical team. Psychological testing has shown that his intellectual functioning corresponds to mild mental impairment (IQ 50). Leonardo attends school under an individualized education plan and requires constant supervision and assistance in daily activities.

Due to the progression of his condition and pronounced motor and cognitive difficulties, he has been assessed with 100% bodily impairment, as well as the need for continuous care and assistance.

Funds are needed for physical and neurorehabilitation treatments, speech therapy, special education therapy, medications, supplements, diagnostic evaluations, and rehabilitation in spa conditions.
