Vasilije has been struggling with the most severe form of West's syndrome and other forms of brain retardation since birth, which do not allow him to be a normal child.

In spite of all these, he is a cheerful and restless boy and almost always has a smile on his face, what brings joy to everyone around him. His mother Dragana, father Dejan and older brother Strahinja are most concerned about even a little progress in his psychological and physical condition. He understands them all, knows where his ear and nose are, he touches them every evening before sleep, but he still cannot sit without support, keep his head, speak or walk, and we believe that he would prefer to run as all the other children.

Physical therapies and drugs that control epileptic seizures are the only things that can help him. It is a long-lasting and painstaking process, in which he suffers certain pains, but he does everything with a smile, as if he, himself, is aware that this is the only way to get better. When they see such fighter, his parents get the strength to fight for him, to rejoice every new day in which Vasilije will do something that he could not do before.

Unfortunately, they do not have enough financial resources to provide him with complete treatment. They need help from humane people, to whom they are immensely grateful. Only with united forces Vasilije can get better.

This is the only option for him and for the joy of his family and his brother who is impatiently waiting for him to play, talk and grow like all the other brothers.

For Vasilije to have a normal life! Let's be humane!
