Elena remained without oxygen after birth, and she was immediately hospitalized and put in incubator where she spent twenty days. Parents knew at once that their girl would not be like other children, but they could not even imagine that their child would get a serious diagnosis. Due to many complications, after nine months, Elena was officially diagnosed with cerebral palsy.

Elena cannot walk, she has involuntary movements of her hand, pronounces incomprehensibly the most basic words, but in spite of everything, she is regular in kindergarten. Parents worked with her constantly, took her to exercises and rehabilitation. Despite their seriously hard work and effort, Elena still needs a muscle extension operation performed by Russian doctors so she can walk freely.
